Weddings in Sirmione

We are pleased to offer Sirmione as a perfect resort for your wedding in Italy, with it’s quaint historic centre, picturesque castle and great position on Lake Garda. Sirmione is an excellent location, not just for your wedding in Italy but for your wedding guests to enjoy a fabulous holiday. Lake Garda can be explored by boat both public and private hire. Sirmione also has an excellent spa health and beauty centre ! With the Catullo Caves nearby, ancient Roman Villa dates back to 1st century, peaceful lakeside walks and elegant spa hotels – there’s something to suit everyone.

Civil ceremonies can take place in Palazzo Callas situated in the centre of the old town and near to restaurants with their lake-side terraces – great for your wedding reception, or in the beautiful gardens of a 5 star villa, depending on your budget.

Malcesine Castle Weddings 

Clustered around the foot of the castle and the "Captains' Palace", the old town with its small port, squares and streets filled with shops, bars and picturesque restaurants has a magical charm. Malcesine is one of the most elegant and well-equipped holiday resorts on the lake. The pleasant mild climate all year round permits walks and excursions in the hinterland and on Mount Baldo, which is known as the "Botanical Garden of Europe" due to its huge variety of plant species. A really lovely location for a stylish wedding.

Located on the top of a hill in Malcesine, with a stunning view of the lake, stands this enchanting medieval castle believed to have been built in 568 AD with a lovely Italian Garden. The interior of the marriage hall is simple and in white stone. The ceremony is performed in Italian with translator. Truly beautiful location for wedding pictures! A civil ceremony can take place in the room inside the castle, between 9.30 and 13.30 Monday to Friday (afternoons Tuesdays and Thursdays).

The declaration has to be done the day before your ceremony in government offices.

The other possibility is the Captain’s Palace. The Palace faces the lake on one side and is arrived at by winding cobbled streets in the heart of the small town of Malcesine. The blue waters lapping on the sides of the gardens facing the front of the Palace are delightful, while the views are, to say the least, panoramic! Weddings are celebrated in the upstairs hall; a large frescoed room with windows facing the lake.

Gardone

Known as the garden city for its famous exotically-planted park, Gardone is one of the most fashionable resorts on Lake Garda and still retains much of its former elegance. Gardone is a beautiful example of the more tranquil lakeside villages in the west of the Lake with its floral promenade, ice cream parlours, bars and cafes all with stunning views across the lake. The lakeside walk is lovely and represents the real heart of Lake Garda Riviera.

Among the luxuriant vegetation there are villas, grand hotels, parks, gardens and picturesque quarters. Every year the summer season of the open air theatre has an interesting calendar of events.

Civil ceremonies can take place in the Town Hall between 9.30 and 12.30 am, Mondays to Fridays.
