These themed rooms have been designed to evoke the past – one has neutral tones, nuances of wood and sand, precious damask tapestries and illuminating glass, another has white marble and is a very romantic room, the room of the Doge is opulent with red brocade wall coverings, an oriental room with blue and gold, and ‘sala noire’ has hues of pepper, cocoa and a mosaic of colours.

This is a truly stunning hotel, situated on the side of the Grand Canal with its own private beautifully laid out rose garden. In fact, unusually for Venice, it has two extraordinary gardens!

A mixture of tradition with all modern comforts and technology. 22 junior suites, each one differently furnished and styled with a combination of antique furniture, original fabrics and far-east styles all mixed with taste.
