Flowers

Flowers go a long way towards making your day unique. All our civil ceremony packages include a traditional round posy of roses for the bride and a buttonhole for the groom, in the colour (s) you prefer. We work with the most reputable florists at all our venues and it is important the florist understands exactly what you are looking for. For this reason we suggest you send in a photo or design of the bouquet and decorations that you have in mind and we will liase with the florist on your behalf.

If you would like something unusual you should bear in mind the flowers in season, style of your dress and wedding. There are so many ideas: bouquets with arum lilies or orchids, hand-tied bouquets with mixed flowers and foliage for an informal wedding, trailing or cascade bouquet suitable for formal dress, subtle pretty posies work well for bridesmaids too.

Flowers at the civil ceremony, can be in tune with the bride’s bouquet, table top decorations are popular, or a fuller arrangement on a stand. For religious ceremonies church Italian flower decorations are much more formal.

Photography

For memories of your day that will last and last, choosing your photographer and the style of your photographs is one of your most important decisions. We book only professional photographers and look to recommending one who suits your style, personality and budget. Whether you like traditional & utterly romantic, avant-garde, reportage, black & white, sepia, digital, just let us know!

Bridal Hair and Make-up

Every bride wants to look her best on her wedding day. We can arrange an English/or English speaking hairdresser to come to you in your hotel on the day and also a couple of days beforehand for a pre-run of how you would like your hair on the day, whether it be a simply elegant style or something more elaborate.

We work with experienced experts who pamper and prepare you for your special occasion. You can choose to have just your hair, or hair and make-up.

Bomboniere

Bomboniere and favours known as ‘confetti ‘ were invented by the Italians and given out to guests to thank them for attending the wedding. It is traditional to have 5 sugared almonds – each one for health, happiness, fertility, long life and wealth. Traditional Italian favours can be very ornate, and it is normal for couples to give larger gifts or bomboniere to parents as a thank you.

We can supply many different types of Italian favours, from simple little bags, to extra special gifts.

Transport

In many locations in Italy it is traditional for the bride and groom to walk to the ceremony, or from the ceremony to their reception – a type of wedding procession ! Usually the locals clap and cheer and toast the bride and groom saying ‘Vivi i sposi’ – long live the bride and groom.

However, if you prefer, transport can be arranged for any size of group, not just for the bride and groom or for the whole party. We will be happy to advise you of suitable ideas depending on your venue.
