Dream Wedding in Venice August 25 th  

Venice Events worked very closely with the bride and groom and their florist and designer to get these wonderful results for an amazing four day event.   The first evening was an informal get together for the guests to meet, in a restaurant with an amazing view of St Marks.   Guests were serenaded by guitar and clarinet, and given hand-made lace fans.

Pre wedding dinner 110 people

It was decided that we would go with bright oranges, fresh seasonal fruits and feathers which certainly complimented the stunning location.

A harpist accompanied the guests during aperitivi , and a pianist during the dinner.   Guests enjoyed a video of the couple showing them as children and when they met, and were given 'cookies' with a poem as they left.   Lighting was studied to get the best effect for the room and for the flowers.

The wedding ceremony

The ceremony was celebrated in the gardens of one of the most exclusive locations in Venice. The couple chose a wonderful area in the gardens overlooking the lagoon for the ceremony itself.   The bride arrived accompanied by a string quartet.

Outside cocktails

We arranged for cocktails and light snacks outside, whilst enjoying the view of the sunset overlooking Saint Marks square, and the relaxing atmosphere of the live band before we entered to dinner. We chose a different theme for the outside area, comfortable modern seating, high bar tables and coloured pink flowers with lots of small candles.  

The evening reception

The colours were white, gold and green. The idea was to change this room from an old granary to an elegant breathtaking venue.    Liaising closely with the bride and groom we also worked with wonderful suppliers, florists, designers, lighting engineers, musicians, and all of Venice Events staff to achieve this breath-taking result.   We think we succeeded in making this our event of the Year.
